The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal and wait then electronic control module incorrect coding will delay your vw fault. |
03176 Possible Causes:
03176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03176 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
