When you open fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction or a/c request a, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
03174 Possible Causes:
03174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03174 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
