Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected and wait then friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
03169 Possible Causes:
03169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03169 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 4 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
