The problem is about control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control system, stuck closed you can see the transmission temperature control will delay your vw fault. |
03168 Possible Causes:
03168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03168 Code
- Inspect all the connections automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
