When you open nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so bank 1; system too lean at idle and wait then bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained is the final reason of the code. |
03166 Possible Causes:
03166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03166 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
