03165 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal . On the other hand pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03165 Possible Causes:
03165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03165 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
