Staring in engine engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open and wait then exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean will delay your vw fault. |
03160 Possible Causes:
03160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03160 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
