Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 1 above knock threshold also engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03159 Possible Causes:
03159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03159 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
