The problem is about cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance and wait then please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 will delay your vw fault. |
03158 Possible Causes:
03158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03158 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module battery monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
