Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch accessory position, circuit high and wait then intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
03157 Possible Causes:
03157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03157 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
