03151 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ . On the other hand fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
03151 Possible Causes:
03151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03151 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
