Staring in engine ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
03148 Possible Causes:
03148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03148 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
