This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal 'door up' not recognized . On the other hand secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
03142 Possible Causes:
03142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03142 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
