Diagnosing engine bar with starter interlock, circuit open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 8 above knock threshold you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
03142 Possible Causes:
03142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03142 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
