Accumulated in electronic control units so coolant pump control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03140 Possible Causes:
03140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03140 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
