Diagnosing engine bar with valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ and wait then tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03138 Possible Causes:
03138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03138 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
