This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 6 above knock threshold and wait then engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03120 Possible Causes:
03120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 03120 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
