03118 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open or nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
03118 Possible Causes:
03118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03118 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
