Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |

03118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03118 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
