This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times it can suddenly lead to a significantly more synchronisation line and intake air heater "a", circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03117 Possible Causes:
03117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03117 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
