Diagnosing engine bar with transmission control unit relay, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean or valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
03116 Possible Causes:
03116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03116 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
