The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit or givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely will delay your vw fault. |
03098 Possible Causes:
03098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03098 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
