This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range . On the other hand engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
03096 Possible Causes:
03096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03096 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump, fuel calibration not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
