Staring in engine b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground or change intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03089 Possible Causes:
03089 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03089 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
