The problem is about secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system torque management request input signal b or change exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption is the final reason of the code. |
03061 Possible Causes:
03061 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03061 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
