The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction and wait then nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
03048 Possible Causes:
03048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 03048 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
