This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then starter interlock, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
03048 Possible Causes:
03048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03048 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
