This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for coolant system circuit, high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
03040 Possible Causes:
03040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03040 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
