The problem is about secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 or accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
03031 Possible Causes:
03031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03031 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, default not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
