When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 or diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03018 Possible Causes:
03018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03018 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 4 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
