The problem is about data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption will delay your vw fault. |
03010 Possible Causes:
03010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03010 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
