Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 10 above knock threshold also vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high will delay your vw fault. |
03005 Possible Causes:
03005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03005 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
