This code were stamped on VW Engine case sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission control unit (j217), programming error also exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak will delay your vw fault. |
03004 Possible Causes:
03004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 03004 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
