The problem is about reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump, mechanical malfunction you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02999 Possible Causes:
02999 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02999 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
