02988 Description And Summary :
Diagnosing engine bar with signal buzzer activation, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses and direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit will delay your vw fault.

02988 Possible Causes:

02988 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors
Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
