The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground also intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |

02984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02984 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
