When you open motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, forced idle . So for next ignition coil cylinder 15, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02983 Possible Causes:
02983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02983 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
