This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle angle signal stuck on to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance or cylinder 2 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
02982 Possible Causes:
02982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02982 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
