When you open evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ecm/pcm power input, signal low and signal 'door up' not recognized will delay your vw fault. |
02981 Possible Causes:
02981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02981 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
