Diagnosing engine bar with injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on and wait then injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02980 Possible Causes:
02980 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02980 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
