Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position output, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean you can see the valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02978 Possible Causes:
02978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02978 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch temperature, control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
