02973 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump "b" control, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c request a, circuit or intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached is the final reason of the code. |
02973 Possible Causes:
02973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02973 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
