The problem is about intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit intermittent or intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
02973 Possible Causes:
02973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02973 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
