This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charging system, voltage high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open you can see the intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02966 Possible Causes:
02966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02966 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
