Staring in engine idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 4 above knock threshold you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02965 Possible Causes:
02965 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02965 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
