Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain and torque management feedback signal "b", low is the final reason of the code. |
02961 Possible Causes:
02961 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02961 Code
- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
