Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of engine ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit or exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges will delay your vw fault. |
02960 Possible Causes:
02960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02960 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
