The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles egr system, regulation range not reached and wait then fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02956 Possible Causes:
02956 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 02956 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
