02949 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground you can see the exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
02949 Possible Causes:
02949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02949 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
