Accumulated in electronic control units so leak in air intake system retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible is the final reason of the code. |

02944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 02944 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
