This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of instrument cluster and wait then secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02943 Possible Causes:
02943 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02943 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
