02942 Possible Causes:
02942 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 02942 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
