02933 Possible Causes:
02933 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02933 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
