This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance and pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02931 Possible Causes:
02931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02931 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
